It was my Dad's 76. birthday. He wanted to have one of my paintings as his birthday present. So I gave him the 'The Red Flower Garden'.
Look at his razor. As long as I can remember he shaved with it - it must be at least 40 years. It is actually unbelievable that it still works.

Now we are ready to look at something pretty special.

It is a duck riding the ocean a hundred feet beyond the surf, and he cuddles in the swells.
There is a big heaving in the Atlantic.
And he is part of it.

He can rest while the Atlantic heaves, because he rests in the Atlantic.

Probably he doesn't know how large the ocean is.

And neither do you.

But he realises it.

And what does he do, I ask you.

He sits down in it.

He reposes in the immediate as if it were infinity - which it is.

That is religion, and the little duck has it.

We don't have a Percy but a Lotti. Nevertheless that is exactly how she lives her life. Enjoys every moment. Loves her family unconditionally. She gives all running around and then surrenders completely to sleep. She is like a Zen master - she lives in the moment and makes just the best of everything what is coming up.

My latest creation - or let's say - my latest attempt. It is always exciting, because you just don't know how it is really turning out in the end. It is a little like life itsself. You go through stages of total ugliness and then happyness but normally I like what's coming out in the end. It is an adventure! I am already curious what the result will be.......
